CPC Calculator

Free CPC calculator: solve for cost per click, total cost, or clicks, plus derived CTR and CPM. Runs fully in your browser.

About this tool

CPC Calculator is a free, in-browser tool for cost-per-click advertising. Choose whether to solve for CPC, total cost, or clicks; the selected field is hidden and the remaining two are used to compute the answer. Add an optional impressions figure and the tool also derives your click-through rate and CPM. Everything runs locally — nothing is uploaded.

The core relationship is CPC = cost ÷ clicks, which rearranges to cost = CPC × clicks and clicks = cost ÷ CPC. When impressions are supplied, CTR = clicks ÷ impressions × 100 and CPM = cost ÷ impressions × 1,000 are shown as extra tiles so you can see click efficiency and reach cost together.

Use it to check a PPC bid, to work out how many clicks a budget buys at a target CPC, or to convert between the click and impression views of the same campaign. Money values are formatted as currency and rates carry a percent sign.

Frequently asked questions

How is cost per click calculated?
CPC = total cost ÷ clicks. Spending 250 for 500 clicks is a CPC of 0.50. Switch the selector to solve for cost (CPC × clicks) or clicks (cost ÷ CPC) instead.
What are the CTR and CPM tiles?
They appear only when you enter impressions. CTR = clicks ÷ impressions × 100 measures how often an impression is clicked; CPM = cost ÷ impressions × 1,000 is the cost per 1,000 impressions of the same spend.
Why won't it compute when clicks are zero?
CPC divides cost by clicks, so zero clicks would divide by zero. When solving for CPC or entering CPC directly you need a value above zero; the tool shows an invalid message rather than infinity.
Does anything leave my device?
No. All figures are computed in your browser; campaign costs, clicks and impressions are never uploaded.
