About this tool

Clean and canonicalize a list of email addresses entirely in your browser: it lowercases each address, strips Gmail dots and +tags, and removes duplicates.

Frequently asked questions

Why are dots removed only for Gmail?
Gmail ignores dots in the local part, so [email protected] and [email protected] are the same inbox. Other providers may treat dots as significant, so they are left untouched.
What does it do with +tags?
The +tag suffix (e.g. [email protected]) is stripped to reveal the base address, which is useful for deduplicating sub-addressed emails.
