About this tool
The Middle Bet Calculator analyses a "middle": two bets on overlapping lines that can both win if the result lands in the gap between them. With stake s1 at decimal odds d1 and stake s2 at odds d2, your total staked is s1 + s2. If only side 1 wins the net is s1 × d1 − (s1 + s2); if only side 2 wins it is s2 × d2 − (s1 + s2); and if the middle hits and both win the net jumps to s1 × d1 + s2 × d2 − (s1 + s2) — the jackpot outcome.
All figures are computed locally in your browser and nothing you enter leaves your device. Choose American, decimal, or fractional odds and the tool converts both sides before reporting the three outcomes. The two single-side results are usually small — a modest hold or a small cost that is the price you pay for the shot at the middle — while the both-win result is the large payout you are hoping for. The tool also reports the side-2 stake that would equalise the two miss cases, s2 = s1 × d1 / d2, so you can balance the small outcomes evenly.
This is a pure math reference and does not place bets or handle real money. A profitable middle needs the chance of landing in the gap to outweigh the small cost of the misses; wider middles (more overlap) hit more often but usually at shorter odds. Use it to see exactly what each outcome pays before deciding whether a middle is worth chasing.
