About this tool

World Clock is a free, in-browser dashboard that shows the current local time in 14 major cities at once — spanning the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Oceania — and refreshes every second.

Each city's clock reads your device's system time and converts it with the browser's built-in IANA time zone database (via the Intl API), so daylight saving changes are applied automatically. Times appear in 24-hour format (HH:MM:SS), rendered in the page's language.

Nothing is uploaded, no accounts are needed, and no location permission is requested — it runs entirely on your device and keeps working offline. Use it to see whether a colleague, market, or family member is awake before you reach out, or to line up a call across time zones at a glance.

Frequently asked questions

How often does it update?
Every second. On each tick it reads your device clock and reformats every city using the browser's time zone database.
Does it handle daylight saving time?
Yes. Each city's time comes from the browser's IANA time zone database, so current DST rules and offset changes are applied automatically.
Which cities are shown, and can I add my own?
It displays a fixed set of 14 cities: Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, New York, São Paulo, London, Paris, Moscow, Dubai, Mumbai, Shanghai, Tokyo, Sydney, and Auckland. The list isn't editable.
Does it use a 12- or 24-hour clock?
A 24-hour clock, shown as HH:MM:SS. The digits are rendered in the page's language through the Intl API, so no setting is required.
