About this tool
The Anagram Solver is a free, in-browser word tool that finds every valid English word hidden in a set of letters. Type up to 15 letters and it scans a bundled dictionary, returning each word whose letters can be drawn from your tiles — using every letter at most as many times as you supply it. Results are grouped by length, longest first, and words that use every one of your tiles are highlighted separately as perfect anagrams.
Everything runs locally in your browser using a dictionary loaded once on the page — nothing you type is uploaded or logged, so your puzzles stay private. You can include one or more '?' characters as wildcard (blank) tiles: each wildcard fills in for any single missing letter, which is handy for board games with blanks or when you are unsure of a letter. A minimum-length control lets you hide short two- and three-letter fragments when you only want the longer answers.
Results come from a public-domain English word list, so it is broad and great for puzzles, but some very modern or borrowed words (for example qi, za, xu, or zydeco) may be missing, and it includes some archaic and proper-name entries. Use it for crosswords, anagram puzzles, jumble games, and word-board racks whenever you need to turn a jumble of letters into real words fast.
