About this tool
Enter any two sides of a right triangle — two legs, or the hypotenuse plus one leg — and it finds the missing side, both acute angles in degrees, the area and the perimeter. Everything runs locally in your browser.
Frequently asked questions
Which sides should I enter?
Enter the two legs a and b to find the hypotenuse, or enter the hypotenuse c plus one leg to find the other leg. You need exactly two values.
How are the angles found?
The acute angles come from the side ratios via the inverse tangent, so the two non-right angles always add up to 90°.
