Resin 3D Print Volume & Cost Calculator is a free, in-browser tool that estimates how much resin an SLA, MSLA or DLP print uses — in millilitres and grams — and what it costs, including the extra resin held by supports and lost to cleanup. Everything is computed locally as you type, with nothing uploaded.
Start from the model volume in millilitres (1 mL = 1 cm³). Supports add a percentage on top, then a fixed waste amount covers vat residue and cleanup: volume = model × (1 + supports %) + waste. Weight is volume × resin density (about 1.1 g/mL for standard resins), and the cost is volume × (bottle price ÷ bottle size), so a 30 mL job from a 40-per-litre bottle costs about 1.20.
Use it to see how many prints a bottle yields, to compare resins by price per millilitre, or to budget a batch. The supports percentage is the big variable — heavily supported minis can add 30–60% — so adjust it to match how your slicer generates supports.

How is the resin volume worked out?
It takes the model volume, adds a percentage for supports, then adds a fixed waste amount for vat residue and cleanup: volume = model × (1 + supports%) + waste. The result is shown in millilitres, which equal cubic centimetres.
What supports percentage should I use?
It depends on the model and how aggressively your slicer supports it. Light supports add around 10–20%; densely supported miniatures printed at an angle can add 30–60%. Match it to what your slicer reports for the best accuracy.
How is cost and prints-per-bottle calculated?
Cost is the resin volume × (bottle price ÷ bottle size in mL), so it is proportional to the resin actually used. Prints per bottle is the bottle size divided by this print's volume, rounded down to whole prints.
Is resin density always 1.1 g/mL?
Most standard photopolymer resins sit around 1.05–1.25 g/mL, so 1.1 is a good default. The density field is editable — enter the value from your resin's datasheet for an exact weight. All math runs in your browser.
