About this tool
The Scrabble Word Finder shows every word you can build from the tiles on your rack, ranked by how many points each is worth. Enter your letters — up to 15, including blanks — and it scans a bundled English dictionary for every playable word, computes each word's base tile score using the standard English point values, and sorts the list so your highest-scoring options rise to the top.
All scoring and searching happen locally in your browser with a word list loaded once; nothing you type is sent anywhere. Blank tiles are fully supported: type '?' for each blank and it can stand in for any letter, scoring zero points for that position just as on a real board. You can sort by score to chase the biggest play or by length to find the longest word, and copy the whole list with one click.
Scores shown are the base tile totals only — they do not include board premiums like double- and triple-letter or word squares, or the 50-point bonus for using all seven tiles, since those depend on where you place the word. The dictionary is a public-domain English word list, so it is broad but not identical to the official TWL or SOWPODS tournament lists; a few modern or borrowed words (qi, za, xu, zydeco) may be missing.
