About this tool
The Stableford Points Calculator converts your hole-by-hole golf scores into Stableford points, a format that rewards good holes and limits the damage of bad ones. In the standard system points are awarded on net strokes relative to par: net double bogey or worse (+2 and up) scores 0, bogey (+1) scores 1, par scores 2, birdie (−1) scores 3, eagle (−2) scores 4, albatross (−3) scores 5, and a condor (−4) scores 6 — equivalently, points = max(0, 2 − (net − par)).
Enter your par for each hole and your gross score for each hole as space- or comma-separated lists. To score net Stableford, add a course handicap and the tool distributes those strokes across the holes: with a stroke-index list it gives extra strokes to the hardest holes first, and without one it allocates by hole order. Net score per hole is gross minus strokes received, and points follow from the net-versus-par table.
A Modified (“pro”) Stableford preset uses the tour scale where bogey or worse loses points: double bogey and worse = −3, bogey = −1, par = 0, birdie = +2, eagle = +5, and albatross = +8. Everything is computed locally in your browser, and the tool totals your points along with gross, net, and score-to-par for the round so you can see the full picture at a glance.
