About this tool

Take-Home Pay Calculator is a free, in-browser paycheck tool that turns a gross annual salary into net pay per year, month, biweekly paycheck, week and hour. You define the deductions yourself — a flat percentage of gross (like payroll contributions), fixed annual amounts (like insurance premiums), and an optional progressive tax bracket table — so it works for any country and tax year.

Net pay is gross − gross × percentage deductions − flat deductions − bracket tax, where bracket tax charges each slice of income at its own rate (each line in the table is a lower threshold and the rate applied above it, up to the next line). The hourly figure divides annual net by 52 × your weekly hours, and the effective-deduction tile shows what share of gross never reaches you.

Edit the default brackets to match your jurisdiction's current table and see instantly how a raise or a new deduction changes each paycheck. Everything runs locally in your browser — your salary never leaves your device.

Frequently asked questions

How do I enter the tax brackets?
One bracket per line as "lower-threshold rate%" — e.g. "0 10" then "11000 12" taxes the first 11,000 at 10% and income above 11,000 at 12% until the next line; leave the box empty for no bracket tax.
Why are there no country presets?
Tax tables change every year and differ by country, state and filing status, so you paste the current brackets for your situation instead — that keeps the math correct anywhere.
How are the per-paycheck figures derived?
Annual net is divided by 12 for monthly, 26 for biweekly, 52 for weekly, and by 52 × your weekly hours for the hourly rate — simple splits of the same annual amount.
Is my salary information private?
Yes. This is a static page with no backend; every figure is computed locally in your browser and nothing is transmitted or stored.
