Resume Builder

Build a clean, one or two-page PDF resume from simple form fields — no account, generated in your browser.

About this tool

Create a tidy, single-column PDF resume from plain form fields. Fill in your name, headline and contact details, a short summary, any number of Experience and Education entries, and a skills list, then download a finished A4 document. It is all generated locally with pdf-lib — no sign-up, no upload, and nothing about your career leaves your browser.

The layout is a professional single column on A4 (595.28 × 841.89 pt) with a 50 pt margin. The name is set in bold Helvetica at 22 pt, followed by your headline and a contact line joining email, phone, location and website. Each section — Summary, Experience, Education, Skills — gets a bold uppercase heading with a thin rule beneath it. Within an Experience entry the role and company sit in bold on the left while the dates are right-aligned on the same line, positioned at x = pageWidth − margin − textWidth so they end flush with the right margin.

Every block of text is word-wrapped to the content width using the font's real character metrics, and a vertical cursor tracks how far down the page you are. When the next line would cross the bottom margin, a fresh page is added and the cursor resets — so a longer resume simply flows onto a clean second page. The built-in fonts cover Latin-1 characters; text outside that range reports an encoding note rather than producing a broken file.

Frequently asked questions

Can my resume be more than one page?
Yes. Content is laid out with a running cursor, and whenever the next line would cross the bottom margin a new page is added automatically, so long resumes flow onto a second (or third) page.
How do I add several jobs or degrees?
Use “Add experience” and “Add education” to create as many entries as you need. Each has its own role/company/dates (or degree/school/year) and bullet lines; the ✕ button removes one.
How should I enter the bullet points?
Type one achievement per line in the bullets box. Each line becomes a “•” bullet, wrapped to the page width — you don't need to add the bullet character yourself.
Is any of my information uploaded?
No. The PDF is assembled entirely in your browser with pdf-lib and downloaded directly; none of your personal or career details are sent to a server.
