About this tool
Enter your neck circumference and sleeve length in inches or centimetres and this calculator returns a men's dress-shirt size: the collar × sleeve number (for example 15.5 × 34/35), the European collar in centimetres, and the S–XXL letter equivalent. Everything is computed in your browser from built-in charts — nothing is uploaded and it works offline.
The method mirrors how shirts are labelled. Collar size is your neck measurement rounded up to the nearest half-inch, so a 15.3" neck becomes a 15.5" collar; the EU collar is that value converted to centimetres (collar × 2.54, rounded). Sleeve size is the measured back-of-neck-to-wrist length paired into the standard even/odd bracket (33" falls in 32/33, 34" in 34/35). The alpha size comes from the collar: 14–14.5" is S, 15–15.5" M, 16–16.5" L and 17–17.5" XL, with the half-inch collars shown as a slash size (15.5" = M/L) because they straddle two brackets.
Measure the neck where the collar sits, keeping one finger of room, and measure the sleeve from the centre back of the neck, across the shoulder and down a slightly bent arm to the wrist bone. These sizes are approximate and vary by brand, so always check the maker's own size chart before buying.
